The Hills
In The Valley
The Hills in the Valley is a story book relating the life of a young child born with a ‘wooden spoon in her mouth’ and against all odds, her decision to survive. Though set to reveal some primitive and abominable act done to children, especially female ones, and the challenges an average child from a certain social class would face to rise to the top, it portrays strength, survival, thriving, becoming-all-that-you can-ever-imagine-or think, reaching the heart of every culturally diverse reader.

You and your story are such an inspiration and a hope for others. I found myself thinking about how I was going to better my life because of what you said. As I said after your presentation you should be a public motivational speaker. You speak so much from the heart and the realization of “real” life.
Professor McCollum.
The Hills in the Valley is an interesting book, I loved how the author used her personal experience to exaggerate the menace still befalling our modern society. Everyday struggles of life and challenges experienced by young and old, married or single, struggling and thriving, was beautifully captured, giving hope to the discouraged.
