The Hills in the Valley is a story book relating the life of a young child born with a ‘wooden spoon in her mouth’ and against all odds, her decision to survive.

Though set to reveal some primitive and abominable act done to children, especially female ones, and the challenges an average child from a certain social class would face to rise to the top, it portrays strength, survival, thriving, becoming-all-that-you can-ever-imagine-or think, reaching the heart of every culturally diverse reader.

Life has indeed been given but with nothing assured! Hope and will-power are strong forces that can propel you to a course in life, healing you of any heart-shattering emotional encounters while bearing some brunt maybe.

Slyly keeping the skeleton in the closet, Kim Jerry hides that he is already the father of 4 kids, when he marries Ashley. Bridled with the initial deceit, their marriage starts with Aliana encountering distress.

The couples persistence in achieving parenthood collectively, and their belief in a force unexplainable, grants them the birth of a beautiful girl.
