About the author

Omoyemi is a Nigerian-born, America-based mother of three wonderful children.

Her extensive travel experiences have enriched her perspective as reflected in several published articles andher role as a publisher and columnist for her college magazine, at the Lagos State College of Primary Education, Noforija, Epe in Lagos State, now called Tai-Solarin University of Education.

As the founder of the charity organization Haven and Love, Omoyemi is dedicated to supporting young orphans, and victims of abuse, molestation, abandonment, and societal stigma, with a particular focus on females experiencing undiagnosed bleeding problems.

The organization aims to provide material assistance, safety, and support through the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Journey Story

Throughout her years in elementary school, Omoyemi was the leader and script writer for the school’s drama club and was popularly known for her presentation skills and public speaking. During High school and then Diploma, she wrote a bit of poetry and served as a publisher and columnist.

Omoyemi holds a Master’s degree in Health Informatics with Honors from Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana, USA. Beyond her academic achievements, she is passionate about writing, reading, and traveling, and finds joy in crafting eulogies. Recognized for her intellectual prowess, leadership qualities, and motivational and inspiring nature, Omoyemi is known for her sweet and endearing personality.

For almost 10 years, she worked as part of a research team alongside the world-renowned Chemist, Dr. Kenny Acholonu, collaborating with the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), World Health Organization (WHO), and BASF, The Chemical Company, Germany in pioneering initiatives in Food Fortification and manufacturing of micronutrients powder to reduce malnutrition in children living in Nigeria and other African countries.

Omoyemi has penned this fictional book, drawing inspiration from her life experiences. She prays for strength, hope, and assistance for anyone facing similar life challenges.

In addition to her charitable endeavors, Omoyemi is the convener of the ‘Sip and Summarize’ Bookklub, catering to professional ladies for reading and mingling.
